Published: Monday, August 22, 2011

The Women's Resource and Development Agency have launched a brand new website revealing a new online identity and new social media communications strategy aimed at attracting a wider audience to the Agency.

The new look website has a fresh vibrant design and several new categories while still featuring such staple items as women's sector events, news, research reports and publications. It now also incorporates a Flickr page and Twitter feed with a new Facebook page to engage with supporters.

Shauna Crawley, Communications and Membership Worker with WRDA said, "This new site will make it much easier for us to communicate with our members and the sector, empower them to know more about the issues that concern them and promote their views to the sector and beyond. The new site looks fantastic, is more accessible and easier to navigate."

Director of the Agency, Dr Margaret Ward said: "In order for WRDA to continue to evolve as a regionally recognised women's organisation, we felt it important to create a brand new website which showcases the breadth of our work while also providing a 'one stop shop' for those wanting to know more about the work of the women's sector in Northern Ireland."
