Making Women Central to Local Government Workshops, Longford, Dublin & Limerick

NWCI is organising a series of workshops on Making Women Central to Local Government in Longford, Dublin and Limerick. These workshops are organised in cooperation with the National Collective of Community-based Women’s Networks along with, in Longford, Longford Women's Link and, in Dublin, Southside Partnership.

PLEASE NOTE, THE DUBLIN WORKSHOP HAS BEEN POSTPONED!!

This series of workshops is aimed at providing organisations interested in progressing women’s equality with an opportunity to share experiences of engaging in the local alignment structures and identifying how best to represent women’s voices in these spaces.

Each workshop explores:
• Current developments in local alignment across the country
• How groups are promoting women’s equality through local alignment
• Opportunities for women’s collective engagement in local alignment
• Public sector positive duty – how we can use it as a tool in our work?
