COMEDIVERSITY - A Comedy Night with a Difference, because Difference is Beautiful

Come join us for the most diverse night of comedy that Ireland has ever seen. We at comediversity recognise that sometimes, for whatever reason, comedy lineups are very seldom as diverse as they could possibly be. Hence the name (duh) comedy and diversity, the perfect mix of a more inclusive collection of laughter.
Teaming up with the Róisín Dubh in Galway City for our first event, we aim to showcase the very best of comedy coming from various diverse backgrounds i.e LGBT+, female acts (Yes yes I know, female isn't a marginalised group, unless of course you're a female act looking to get stage time in a male dominated circuit :p ), people living in direct provision, acts with disabilities, non national acts, drag queens and hosted by Ireland and the UK's only stand up comic from the Traveller Community. Music will be provided by the wonderful INERTIA.
The event aims to let the audience hear stories and voices from a wide variety of backgrounds while keeping the laughs rolling in. All proceeds of the night will be donated to two very worthy charities/orgs.The acts have spoken and chosen their desired recipients and they are: Teach solais LGBT+ Centre in Galway city and The National Women's Council of Ireland
