Dublin Honour Magdalenes

The National Women's Council of Ireland (NWCI) is supporting the Dublin Honours Magdalenes (DHM) event.

DHM will host a rally with speakers including Magdalene laundry survivors, family members of survivors, and advocates for Magdalene women, including NWCI DIrector Orla O'Connor. The focus is on the unfulfilled promises of the State redress scheme including the lack of consultation with Magdalene survivors in how the Magdalenes are to be remembered in Ireland.
