Getting Women on Board - Harnessing Women’s Talent in Companies

Register here to join us for a lively discussion on how we can increase women's representation on company boards in Ireland.

Hosted by the National Women's Council of Ireland and the Norwegian Embassy, this event will explore how Ireland can increase women's representation on boards. Women comprise just under 16 per cent of membership of company boards in Ireland, which is far behind the European average. Following on from our publicaton 'Better Boards, Better Business, Better Society', this seminar will focus on the actions that we can take in Ireland to increase women's representation on company boards.

Speakers include business lawyer, Liv Monica Stubholt, a partner with one of Norway's top law firms, with experience in implementing this legislation from a business perspective; Anne O’ Leary, CEO of Vodafone in Ireland and Margaret Ward, CEO of Clear Ink and Board member of RTÉ. The event will be opened with addresses from Norwegian Ambassador, Else Berit Eikeland and Director of the National Women's Council of Ireland, Orla O'Connor.
