Family Friendly Policies
In order for women to make choices around combining care work and their paid working lives, extensive family friendly policies must be in place. The NWCI is campaigning for paid parental leave and paid paternity leave for fathers and have set out these proposals in 'An Accessible model of Childcare'. The NWCI also recommends the introduction of flexible work practices by employers that facilitate both men and women to combine work and family life.
