The National Collective of Community Based Women’s Networks (NCCWN) was established as a national organisation in 2002. It is a feminist organisation and its members are grass roots local community development and adult education women’s groups and networks working to address women’s poverty and social exclusion. NCCWN gives voice to women and women’s concerns.
NWCI is a Board Member of NCCWN. Together NCCWN and NWCI lobbied successfully for the specific inclusion of a women’s strand in the Local and Community Development Programme.
