NWCI ‘Who needs your Yes?’ Film premiere and campaign launch

Join us for NWCI’s 'Who needs your Yes?' Film premiere and campaign launch, Monday 14th May at 10.00am in Wood Quay Venue, Dublin 8.

Ahead of the historic referendum vote on 25th May, join us for the film premiere and campaign launch of ‘Who needs your Yes?’ on 14th May. Speakers at the event will highlight the harmful impact of the 8thAmendment on women and girls over the past 35 years and encourage all voters across Ireland to think about the women and girls in their lives when voting Yes for a more compassionate Ireland on 25th May.

The film ‘Who Needs Your Yes?’ will feature the voices of family members of women who were forced to travel abroad for abortion care because of the 8th Amendment.

Our panel of inspiring speakers include:

·         Tess Murphy, Board Member, Longford Women’s Link

·         Dr Gráinne Healy, Former Chair NWCI and former Co-Director of Yes Equality

·         Laura Harmon, Women in Leadership Coordinator, NWCI and former President of the Union of Students

·         Prof Mary Higgins, Consultant Obstetrician/Gynaecologist, National Maternity Hospital

The ‘Who needs your Yes?’ campaign will run over the course of the 12 last days before polling day and encourage all yes voters to share who they are voting yes for using the hashtag #WhoNeedsYourYes.
