9:45-11:00 Roundtable discussion with MAWS founders and alumni about the programme and its applicability, academic contribution to gender equality and the changing landscape of gender equality since the inception of the course (participants to be invited by Board of MAWS – confirmed to date are Drs Sandra McAvoy and Liz Steiner-Scott, and former students Michael Rowan (MA) and Liz Kyte (PhD))
COFFEE – 15 minutes
11:15-13:00 Workshop on Ethnicity/Gender Intersectionality facilitated by Advance HE
LUNCH – 60 minutes
14:00-16:00 Keynote by Professor Maggie O’Neill, Sociology, UCC, with panel discussion "Perspectives on intersectionality and gender equality" – confirmed panellists Senator Ivana Bacik, Brigid Quilligan, Irish Traveller activist, Rola Abu Zeid O’Neill UCC & Judy Walsh UCD. Moderator: Dr Amanullah De Sondy, UCC
16:00-16:15 - Closing remarks
