
Shape the Future of Contraception Access in Ireland – Join an LGBTQ+ Focus Group

The National Women’s Council, in partnership with the Department of Health and Trinity College Dublin, is conducting research into women's experiences, attitudes, and awareness of contraception and the Free Contraception Scheme in Ireland.
This research will help inform policy and service design to ensure contraception is accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of all women in Ireland. As part of this project, we are holding a series of focus groups with specific communities whose voices are essential in shaping the future of sexual and reproductive health policy.
We are currently inviting participants from the following groups:
- Members of the LGBTQ+ community
Who can take part?
Participants must be:
- Aged 18-35
- Living in Ireland
- Available to attend the focus group online
