Setting the #FeministAgenda for the Economy

Thursday, May 28, 2020

Join us for the second event in our #Feminist Agenda webinar series. Over the coming weeks, we will be discussing Covid-19 and the key issues that are relevant for women and women's equality at the moment.

This webinar will focus on the economic impact of COVID 19 on women and a model of feminist recovery. We want to highlight the need for diverse women’s experiences to be at the centre of an economic recovery and to have a conversation about how we can collectively rebuild our economy and society.

Speakers will include

  • Diane Elson, Emeritus Professor, University of Essex and Chair of the Commission on a Gender Equal Economy.
  • Ebun Joseph, Race Relations Consultant, lecturer and activist.
  • Mary Murphy, Associate Professor, Maynooth University.
  • Orla O'Connor, Director, NWCI.
