Interested in an exciting career in IT?
FIT & IBM have created the perfect Tech Taster Day for females nationwide. The aim of the event is to introduce you to the world of tech, meet females in tech roles and understand what a tech career looks like first-hand!
While the primary objective of the event is to encourage female tech enthusiasts to consider a career in the sector, we welcome all genders to attend.

Hear from established Technical Women on their career path and experiences in IT.
2:30 - 3:10 Speed Geeking: A day in the life
A series of rapid fire presentations on different day to day experiences in IT.
3:10 - 3:30 Coffee Break & Snacks
3:30 - 3:50 Interactive Group Session
A chance to work together with other participants to share insights on the afternoon.
3:50 - 4:00 Closing Remarks
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Upon Arrival to Building 3 Main Entrance:
Building 3 is the building with blue trim on windows. Park and enter by the main entrance. Press buzzer and ask the security officer to release the door for you. Check-in at our reception by advising the security guard who you are visiting and/or event you are attending and he will provide a visitor security badge.
By public transport
The number 38, 38A and 38B buses serve the campus from Dublin City Centre.
Note that 38B is the recommended express variation. There is also the 38D which has a limited service that is non-stop after O-Connell Street to the IBM Campus.
Shuttle
FIT & IBM are offering a FREE return shuttle from Phibsborough, just outside the Brian Boru Public House
5 Prospect Rd, Cabra East, Glasnevin, Co. Dublin.
Departing: 12.30 p.m
Returning (from IBM): 4.10 p.m
