Soroptomist International Dungarvan & District International Women’s Day 2026 – Honouring Dervla Murphy

Soroptimist International Dungarvan & District invites the public to a special screening celebrating the life and legacy of Dervla Murphy (1931–2022), renowned Irish travel writer and cyclist who lived a life beyond convention.

This International Women’s Day event reflects on women’s courage, independence and resilience, honouring Murphy’s pioneering spirit and the inspiration she continues to offer to women and girls.

The screening will be followed by light refreshments and an opportunity to connect and reflect together.
