Response to Mid-term Review Second National Strategy on Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence

Violence against women is the most significant crime impacting on women internationally and in Ireland. Domestic and sexual violence is a cause and consequence of gender discrimination and it needs to be located within a gender equality framework. We welcome the opportunity to respond to the mid-term review of the Second National Strategy on Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence 2016-2021, and commend Cosc’s commitment to ensuring this Strategy is fit for purpose.
