Invitation - NALA Awards Ceremony RDS 26 September

NALA is hosting an awards ceremony on Thursday 26 September 2024 in Dublin. The event will celebrate adult literacy learners who achieved certificates on Learn with NALA in 2024.
So far in 2024, 772 learners achieved 1,714 Quality and Qualification Ireland (QQI) awards and 661 learners achieved 1,661 NALA certificates on Learn with NALA. A sample of these learners will attend the awards ceremony on 26 September to receive their certificate.
Guest speaker: Sinéad Burke: Sinéad is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tilting the Lens, a global accessibility consultancy with the mission of designing a more equitable and accessible world. With a majority Disabled team across Belfast, Berlin, Glasgow, London and Trim, they work with the Disabled community to create systemic change in the public and private sectors. A teacher by training, Sinéad is also a writer and a member of the Council of State. Sinéad is a leading voice for accessibility and inclusion. Her insights and experiences will add something special and motivating to the day. Check out her TED talk "Why design should include everyone."
