Irish Cancer Society funded study: Energy Hardship among People with Palliative Care Needs At Home: Understanding Issues and Promoting Actions. The research was conducted by Dr Suzanne Denieffe and her team at the South East Technological University.

The research is the first of its kind undertaken in Ireland on energy hardship in palliative care at home, getting the views of patients and family carers, home care nurses, energy providers and the regulator. The report highlights the multi-sectoral actions that need to be taken to address this important issue.
