A Gender-Responsive, Survivor-Centred Approach to Ending Child and Family Homelessness

In this submission, the National Women’s Council outlines the urgent need for a gender-responsive Child and Family Homelessness Action Plan that recognises the deep links between homelessness, poverty and domestic, sexual and gender-based violence. Drawing on our research, policy expertise and work with grassroots organisations, we set out practical, survivor-centred recommendations to address the structural drivers of homelessness and deliver long-term, sustainable solutions for women and children across Ireland.
