Access 2000

ACCESS 2000 is a Community Development Project based in Wexford Town in the South East of Ireland which evolved to enable women to develop the skills necessary for them to feel worthwhile in the workforce and their communities.

The key values which inform our work are empowerment, participation, inclusion, equality, respect, trust and openness. Within this ethos we offer community education and training programmes which are designed and delivered in a facilitative manner in an environment that is conducive to learning. Our approach is mentoring, flexible and friendly and this supports learners to develop at their own pace and to identify progression routes to further education and employment.

All our programmes are designed and delivered in a facilitative manner which supports and encourages learners to develop at their own pace. We deliver training that is flexible, friendly and we provide an environment that is conducive to learning. We identify progression routes to further education and employment. All of our courses are delivered using the ethos of community education and facilitated by fully qualified and experienced tutors. Participants on our courses range in age from 18 to 65 and we have a course to suit everyone.
