Performing Arts Forum began in the late 1990s as artists and organisations sought stronger connection and a collective voice. Incorporated in 2003, it now represents a wide spectrum of the performing arts, supporting artists, arts workers, venues, festivals, and companies across Ireland. In 2023, the organisation adopted the name Performing Arts Forum to reflect its diverse membership and its commitment to collaboration, sector development, and meaningful advocacy.
