BOLD is a group of older people concerned with the climate crisis and motivated to act with urgency to address it in a just and fair way. They are concerned that the climate crisis impacts most on vulnerable groups, including older people. BOLD recognises there is significant diversity amongst older people based on social class, gender, age sexual orientation, race /ethnicity, disabilities amongst others. BOLD have a steering committee which guides planning and undertakes activities and organises events. BOLD also have a network of supporters and are supported by Friends of the Earth.
