Year of Care Campaign
The Year of Care Campaign is a national grassroots campaign advocating for improved postnatal care for mothers in Ireland. They campaign for accessible, equitable and properly funded postpartum supports, including physical and mental healthcare, community services and practical supports for new mothers for the first year after giving birth. The campaigns work centres the experiences of mothers and families, raises public awareness of gaps in postnatal care and pushes for policy change to ensure every mother receives the care and support she needs after birth.
