Sponsored Walk at Killruddery Estate in Bray

We are delighted to be organising, once again, our annual Sponsored Walk at Killruddery Estate, Bray, Co. Wicklow.

Those of us that walked last year marvelled at the mountain and sea views as we walked through the farmlands and the estate woods filled with indigenous Wicklow trees. The event was exhilarating and so much fun that we are repeating the walk this year.

We ask you to come and join us. The walk will take place at 1 o'clock on Saturday 25th September. If you are not available to take part in the walk - do not despair! If you are prepared to gather sponsorship we will find someone to walk on your behalf. If you would prefer not to look for sponsorship yourself but you are prepared to sponsor someone else, please email us at info@womenstherapycentre.ie and we will arrange this. The option to make an on-line donation is also available on our website www.womenstherapycentre.ie.

I enclose a sponsorship card, if you know 20 people who would sponsor you, anything from a few euro upwards, we would be delighted. The walk is approximately 7 kilometres and takes about 2 hours. Parking will be available at the entrance to the estate. We will meet you at the main gate and direct you from there. Please bring any sponsorship donations with you on the day.

This event is to raise funds for our work providing a professional, affordable and accessible counselling service at the Women's Therapy Centre, particularly for women who experience poverty, abuse and injustice. Further information about the work of the Women's Therapy Centre is available at www.womenstherapycentre.ie.

Finally, we want to acknowledge the support of Lord and Lady Meath in granting us access to this very beautiful estate.

Yours sincerely,
