The National Youth Council of Ireland is hosting a conference on youth employment and unemployment at Croke Park Conference Centre, Jones's Road, Dublin

This one day event will allow young jobseekers, people in the youth and community sector, academics and policy makers in Government and state agencies to discuss current experiences, barriers and challenges along with developing proposals for positive action.

Keynote speakers- Professor Paul Gregg, Bristol University and advisor to UK Government on labour market policy & welfare reform and Jim Power, Chief Economist, Friends First.

The event will consist of a mixture of key inputs, roundtable discussions and a panel Q&A session with representatives of political parties.

* Young jobseekers can attend free of charge with a limited number of travel refunds
* Community & Voluntary Sector - €40
* State bodies, private sector, academics - €80.
