National One Parent Family Alliance position on child maintenance

The National One Parent Family Alliance, of which NWC is a member, has published its joint position on child maintenance as part of the Child Maintenance Review Group's consultation. We are calling for a Statutory Maintenance Agency or equivalent mechanism to take maintenance out of the private sphere and ensure the State is responsible for assessment and enforcement of child maintenance.
