Roadmap to Public Childcare: Together for Public Alliance Position Paper

Affordable and accessible childcare is the backbone of women’s equality. The only way to achieve this is for the State to take decisive action and overhaul the current system. The Together for Public Alliance has launched a new roadmap to public childcare. With over 40 organisations behind it, the Alliance is calling on Government to take urgent action to end the childcare crisis. This is essential to ensure childcare is flexible, inclusive and affordable for every child. We need a system that centres children and families, not private profit.
