NWCI is hiring! We’re recruiting for a ‘Women and Local Government & Development Officer’

The National Women’s Council of Ireland (NWCI) is the leading national women’s membership organisation seeking equality for women. We represent 180 member groups as well as a wide range of individual members from a diversity of backgrounds, sectors and locations.

NWCI is currently recruiting for a 'Women and Local Government & Development Officer.'

This is an exciting time for NWCI.  Change is happening for women in Ireland and we would like you to be part of that.  If you have a good understanding of women’s equality, are a strong communicator, can build relationships and are interested in working with a leading national women’s organisation we want you!

We are looking for you to join the team based in Dublin.  This post is full time for approx. 32 months, depending on the start date.

The Women and Local Government & Development Officer will;
Provide, in accordance with the Strategic Plan, leadership and direction to NWCI’s work to ensure that women’s equality and women’s rights are placed at the heart of local government reform and alignment processes.  She/he will have responsibility for increasing women’s participation in Local Government & Development processes and ensuring NWCI member engagement in all aspects of the work.
