Submission to Department of the Taoiseach on Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Programme

Published: Monday, February 22, 2021

Ireland’s allocation of EU funding under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RFF) will be €853m for 2021/2022. NWC calls for funding to be allocated to Deliver Universal Basic Services in care, health and housing; a fairer tax system so that we have sufficient resources to fund an equal and sustainable recovery; a new model of work based on decent pay and workers’ rights; an active labour market policy that works for women; end poverty and the gender pensions gap; invest in rural communities and deliver a feminist green new deal so that social justice and climate justice are central to the recovery.
