Thursday, June 15, 2017
Sex, Bodies and Big Conversations.
The third discussion in our Raising Feminsts series will look at how to talk about sex and bodies with our children in ways which promotes positive self-esteem and healthy relationships. It's not always easy to have these conversations with our kids - how can we break them down and make them part of every day life and 'not a big deal' ?
Panellists:
Taryn De Vere. Taryn is a writer, parenting coach and performance artist. She has 5 kids and lives in Donegal
Dr Deirdre Cowman. Deirdre is a psychologist and certified play practitioner who is passionate about body image! She is the coordinator of Endangered Bodies Ireland, the Irish branch of an international body image activism movement.
