Scandinavian Childcare: Making it Happen

The National Women's Council of Ireland together with Barnardos, Open and Start Strong organised a seminar on "Scandinavian Childcare: Making it Happen", 5 March 2013. At the meeting the four organisations presented the key findings of a survey of parents on childcare options and costs in Ireland. In addition, participants had the opportunity to find out more about the Nordic Childcare model and its possible adaptation to the Irish context.
