The Sexual Exploitation Research and Policy Institute is Ireland’s only independent research body dedicated to the study of commercial sexual exploitation. Our research influences academic discourse and creates useful knowledge for law and policy makers, practitioners, survivors and activists. The SERP Institute is an internationally-recognised centre of excellence in generating new evidence and informing policy to combat the harms of all forms of commercial sexual exploitation in Ireland and beyond. The Shona Project helps young Irish Girls through all the challenges associated with growing up in Ireland today. The website for girls shares inspirational content, celebrates difference and provides practical advice & a sharing hub on issues such a mental health, relationships, bullying, body issues, medical concerns, school and exams. The Shona Project also operates a school workshop roadshow highlighting bullying, body issues and self esteem; an annual “Young Women’s Convention” for transition year students and an annual awards event.
The Unforgettable Women’s Network - TUWN is a service for women which promotes and encourages the equal valuing of the female person in society by developing women’s capacities through education, development and training. TUWN believes every woman is important and so advocates for women's repositioning in society free of gendered stereotypes and limitations.
